Dropped in water
A wet phone is not a lost phone. The damage that kills the handset often leaves the memory chip intact, and that chip is where your photos, contacts and messages live. When a phone won’t power on, the fault is usually on the board, not in the memory. Deleted photos and videos

iPhone
iPhone data recovery runs through the phone’s own board, because modern iPhones encrypt everything. When an iPhone is dead, we repair the board far enough to power the encryption chip and pull your data intact. For working iPhones with other faults, see iPhone repair.
Samsung Galaxy
Galaxy phones store data on an eMMC or UFS chip that usually survives drops and water. Board repair or a chip-off read gets it back, and when the screen is dead but the phone is alive we can often mirror the display to recover it faster. More at Samsung repair.

How much does it cost for data recovery?
The cost depends on the device condition, type of damage, storage system, and complexity of the recovery process. Can you recover data from a phone that won't turn on?
Usually, yes. A phone that won’t power on has a board fault more often than a memory fault. We repair the board far enough to reach the data, even when the phone isn’t worth fixing outright.
My phone had water damage. Is the data still there?
In most cases the memory chip survives the water even when the phone doesn’t. Don’t charge it, don’t wait, and bring it in. The free diagnosis will tell you exactly what’s recoverable.
Can you recover deleted photos and videos?
Often, yes, if you stop using the phone right away. Deleted files stay on the memory until new data overwrites them. The sooner you bring the phone in, the better your chances.
How long does data recovery take?
Simple recoveries can be same-day. Board-level cases take longer because the repair comes first. You’ll get a time estimate with your free diagnosis, before you decide anything.
